Rare comminuted fracture in the elbow joint

I operated on a patient with a comminuted fracture of the elbow joint (Fig. before). These injuries are very difficult to treat, as the operation must not only restore the contact of the bone fragments, but also the axis of the bone and in particular its articular surface. The X-ray images (Fig. after) show the bone reconstruction procedure from start to finish. Only such perfect treatment enables the patient to lead a full life.
