These injuries are very difficult to treat, as the fragments of the joint surface are often small and it is often not even technically possible to reassemble them. I therefore had the opportunity to implant an elbow hemiarthroplasty joint as a reserve, which has not even been used in Austria yet. In the end, it was possible to restore the joint surface, which is certainly a favorable solution for the young patient. X-rays (Fig. after) show the restoration of the shape of the humerus after the operation.
